In all seriousness… Paul and I voted early and the most important thing I will be wearing today is my, “I voted early” sticker. I felt so proud and powerful waiting to cast my ballot last Friday. I think I was even taller when I walked out of the polling station. This was the longest I waited–1 hour 15 minutes, but it also was different–I waited among people of all races, ages and all THREE parties. The guy in front of me was a white haired cranky Republican smoker and the kid behind me could have been Coolios brother (complete w gold teeth and braids). THIS is what America is all about! No matter who your candidate is–go out and vote!
YEEEEAAAAAAA. I voted early too. I waited about 25 minutes, but have heard of people waiting up to 3 hours! It’s crazy, but it’s great!
Would this be a good time to tell you that I waited until I got off work today and there were 3 people, including me, voting. I would have enjoyed being in the crowd for a little while.
