Anna has been getting more and more into riding bikes lately but her bike was too small for her. About a month ago I took her up to Paceline to look at new ones but told her we were just going to look. She found a bike that she fell in love with and I told her that if she showed us she would ride it she could get it. We took her back up there tonight and told her that she was just going to look again (we knew we were going to get it for her tonight though). When we told her she could get it she was so excited. When we got home we went out for a ride and she kept saying “I love my bike”. Unfortunately a storm came in so we didn’t get to ride as long as we wanted, but she still had a great time.
So when is the first race the kids are in?
Say it isn’t so!!!! My little Anna isn’t big enough to ride a bike with hand breaks!!! She’s turning into such a little lady!
We found a triathlon series in Charlotte for kids when Tyler was interested. Even though he could do the swim he was unsure about it and Anna was unsure about the bike part so they decided not to do it. I don’t think they have anymore this year but maybe next year they will want to do it.
