The moment that Susan has been looking forward to has arrived. Tyler’s new drums came this weekend and I got them together before he got here today. This morning before Tyler got here I caught her in his room playing them (I had guessed that would happen). When he got here he was so excited. Susan’s parents are coming this weekend and he said that they would love to hear him play so he has been practicing for them.
What a nice first anniversary gift!
Now that you mention it… Paul surprised me with my gift (even though we agreed to not exchange gifts b/c we are saving for kayaks) a week early since we went to dinner to celebrate a week early (so we could do a nice kid-free dinner).
I must pause in the story to also mention he had wrapped it and everything!! I didn’t know he even knew where the wrapping was!
It was a pair of Bose noise canceling headphones! I love them and they work SO well! Tested them Sunday afternoon when the kids were drumming, then again Sunday night when Paul was snoring like a chain saw!
