Paul surprised me with my gift (even though we agreed to not exchange gifts b/c we are saving for kayaks) a week early since we went to dinner to celebrate a week early (so we could do a nice kid-free dinner). I must pause in the story to also mention he had wrapped it and everything!! I didn't know he even knew where the wrapping was! It was a pair of Bose noise canceling headphones! I love them and they work SO well! Tested them Sunday afternoon when the kids were drumming, then again Sunday night when Paul was snoring like a chain saw!
