Last night Susan and I went with our friends Wes and Julie to see Simplified play at the Blind Tiger. For those that don’ t know Simplified they are a great band from Charlotte NC. I have been to see them live several times now and the shows have always been great. They were so good last night that we stayed for the whole thing and Susan wasn’t telling me we had to go. That means we didn’t even leave the club until 1:30 and she stayed awake the whole time! It is 11:30 right now and she is still asleep so she is making up for it today.

Point of interest #1—I was up until 2am PLUS, Bridge–not 1:30am!!!
POI #2–I remembered why I hate that–I WASTED all of Sunday morning sleeping! It is so much more satisfying to wake early get some sht-uff done, then RE-RACK! Makes the day longer.
POI #3–I was up at 11am, just enjoying the silence by reading. I finished The Other Boleyn Girl this week. Historical fiction is awesome. Makes me want to Google all kinds of things. Why wasn’t history that interesting in school??????
To Susan’s point of interest #2…getting up early and getting stuff done really means getting up to eat breakfast then going back to bed.
