Collateral damage

There are little things you don’t think about when you go to make transitions. One of the little things I think about when I decided to quit my job is dry cleaning. The dry cleaner I used was in Burlington, while we obviously live in Greensboro. The cleaner was very convenient to work and they had a 24 hour drop off service where you just stick the bag in a drop slot. I liked having the bag b/c I just hung it near the washer/dryer and when I had something to go, I just put it in the bag. When the bag is full, off it goes.

But now I need to take the bag back since driving 45 minutes away to just drop off dry cleaning is crazy. Then I need to find a new one. Do I pick closer to the house? Risk relying on Paul to drop off and pick up (love you Bixby!)? Wait until I start my new job and get a dry cleaner near there? If I do that, what do I do with the couple things I have now?

It kind of makes me laugh that now that I am on “sabbatical,” this is one of my most pressing “worries.” Local peeps: any recommendations for dry cleaners?

I like this, all I have to do is mess it up if you ask and I won’t have to do it again!

You are so cute when you act naive!
