Susan’s goal setting

April 17, 2009. I am tired. Burnt out. I quit goals. Nice for the night before a race, eh? I attempted to start a Mastermind group at work and from them I learned that sometimes you need to stop all this formal goal setting stuff. It is good to have general things to do, but as most of you who know me best–I must go to the opposite end of that spectrum and overdo it. I quit goals and goal setting.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Each month I am looking to inch forward in the direction of my dreams. I thought it would be interesting for me to 1) be publicly held accountable and 2) have an historic look back someday–hey, perhaps in 10 years I will LAUGH at the idea that only 2 svgs of veggies was a stretch goal for me! But also, if I can inspire someone else to work on themselves (not that I don’t love you as you are) but if you need a kick in the pants, I hope I can be your boot. (**for privacy reasons there are some goals I am leaving off–no offense, but my wife goals are nunya biznass!! :) ** )
MARCH 2009
Welp, its March 2 and I am reviewing my accomplishments for February. I feel like I did pretty well. I have been sick on and off, and paralyzingly tired since the Myrtle Madness so I have done 3 workouts/week instead of 4. I did not formally track veggies, but I think I am averaging 2/day. I updated most of the rest in another post.  One bonus was getting a girls day out w The Favorites, my tri-peeps from Team in Training. We went to Seagrove to visit Jennifer’s uncle, who is a potter there. Jen is a Favorite. Her uncle may be inducted into the Favorites’ Hall of Fame. He is super guy, we really enjoyed it. It really helped to fill my tank. This time of year is hard for me–when winter and spring play tug of war. In March I look to continue w balance and living in the gray area.
