The newest version of Ubuntu (8.10, Intrepid Ibex) was released today. For those of you who don’t know Ubuntu is a great Linux distribution which is much nicer, has less crashes and has far less security risks than Windows. You can get it from here. It is completely free and all the programs (and there are thousands of them) are free so give it a try.
